    We are looking for a responsible Project Coordinator to administer and organize multiple simultaneous advocacy program projects to advance advocacy innovations for inclusive participation of persons with Disabilities in social, political, and economic activities at regional level. The Project Coordinator’s duties are to coordinate engagement and participation of UDPK’s member DPOs at defined regional level in the implementation of persons with Disabilities advocacy programs / projects. The coordinator’s main responsibility is to ensure be advocacy programs / projects at the region are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards as per the programs’ objectives and goals.

    UDPK Vacancy Announcement for the position of UDPK/06/17-03: GRANTS OFFICER

    Under the supervision of UDPK’s Senior Finance Officer, the Grants officer has two major responsibilities: First, overseeing the financial and record-keeping side of grant-making process for UDPK programs and for all grants received. Second, collaborating with program officers and team of program coordinators and staff to ensure accurate financial reporting and procedural compliance on all grants made and received. We are seeking an individual with deep financial acumen and a strong record of accomplishment of success. The grants officer shall ensure UDPK’s program grants effectiveness and compliance, help set relevant Sub-Granting policies and provide technical assistance as required. Because the Grants officer shall be a vital connector for the finance, UDPK member DPOs, Partners and program staff, the officer must possess the ability to see and understand all points of view. This individual should have robust collaboration and problem-solving skills and will provide seasoned guidance on compliance issues as well as key financial and operational best practices.

    UDPK Vacancy Announcement for the position of UDPK/06/17-04: PROJECT ACCOUNTANT

    Under the supervision of UDPK’s Senior Finance Officer, the Project Accountant has endeavor to provide a comprehensive Project Accounting, ensure robust financial systems are in place and serviced throughout the lifecycles of UDPK programs/ projects and provide an effective reporting link between the Program team, DPOs, partners and the Finance team. The Accountant shall have three major responsibilities: Project Contract and Commitment Management, Cost Management and financial reporting. The person must be committed to delivery of highly professional service to all UDPK internal and external stakeholders.
